Website Copywriting ServicesEverything you need to know about what a copywriter can do for your website
Are you struggling to find the right words to use of your website?
Not sure what should be included on your homepage, or how to write a good about page without sounding too self-centered?
Or maybe you’d like Google to give your site a bit of love, but you don’t know how to get started? Plus, it all sounds way too complicated and technical to learn, doesn’t it?
If this sounds like you, you need a website copywriter. And that’s exactly what I am.
Let me write your website copy for you so that you can get back to doing what you’re best at.
When I write copy for your website, you’ll receive a copy deck.
A copy what?!?!
A copy deck is a Word doc (or Google doc, or Open Office doc if your prefer), that includes the structure of your site, all of the words that will appear on your website and even some “hidden gems” like title tags, meta descriptions and pre-defined headlines. These hidden gems are all part of the SEO element of your site and help Google recognise your site more easily.
This template is super-easy to understand so that you or your website developer can simply copy and paste the words right where they belong.
Once the copy is finalised, you can also do what you want with it (you’ll own the copyrights). That means you can use the bits and pieces you like best for your social media profiles or any other communications and marketing materials you need.
What’s the process like?
First, we have a chat about your site so that you can receive a personalised quote. Then, when it’s accepted, an agreement has been signed and the deposit is received, the work gets started.
Then you might have to do a little bit of homework for me. It will help me with the research part of my work, so that I can be sure to write the correct information about your business.
And once I’ve made my coffee, I sit down and write your website. We’ll go through two rounds of revisions to make sure the copy is representative of your business’s, grabs the attention of your customers and is mistake-free.
After that, you’ll get a final copy deck of your website that you can use to copy and paste into your site’s platform, or that you can hand over to your website developer.

How much does it cost?
Each website has a different number of pages and words required, so each quote is personalised to your specific business.
Most websites I’ve written include a homepage, an about page, 3-4 specific product or services pages, and a contact page. A typical website like this one can cost between $500 and $1500.
More complex sites (because of a higher number of pages, or a complex topic to tackle) will cost more.
